Due to fast growth, they are now seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join the team in a full time permanent opportunity based in Southport.Reporting to the Accounts Manager and working as senior member of the finance team for the company, your duties will include:Accounts payable and receivable functionsGeneral Ledger and bank reconciliationsAssisting with Tax compliance including income tax, BAS and FBT reporting;Preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and analysisGeneral assistance to the Accounts Manager and other accounts dutiesContributing to reviewing and improving systems and reporting processes to drive efficienciesWe are seeking a professional candidate that meets the following criteria:A minimum of least 3 years recent experience in a similar roleFormal qualifications are highly desirableStrong technical accounting skills and an understanding of statutory reporting requirementsExcellent administrative and data entry skills with a very high attention to detailStrong computer literacy, experience in enterprise level accounting software and advanced Excel useWell-developed communication skills, a personable nature and ability to work effectively within a teamVery good organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines and to also the ability to be self-directed in your workA mature, focused and team-oriented personalityThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a talented team of professionals in an exciting and expanding Group.
