Our client is forging ahead within the commercial cleaning industry with solid commercial property cleaning contracts and more growth firmly predicted for 2018. Due to this growth, they are now seeking a new appointment for a dedicated Business Development Manager to join the company in a full time salaried role.Reporting to and working closely with the Director, your role will be responsible for building relationships with prospects and clients in the delivery of commercial cleaning contracts across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You will develop new business opportunities, service existing clients, assist with tenders and quoting and also have the opportunity to work from your home office or remotely. This is very much an on the road type of role (vehicle supplied) visiting clients and prospects as well as building solid relationships in the market.The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:Demonstrated experience as a business development manager / sales executive / account managerIt would be highly advantageous to have experience and/or contacts within the building, property services or facilities management industry or have come directly from commercial cleaning operationsA self-starter with a strategic approach to researching, generating leads, cold-calling and following sales processesThe demonstrated ability in past employment to meet/exceed KPI's, grow sales and your client baseExperience with tendering would be highly advantageousExcellent client service, account management, communication and negotiation skillsGood administrative skills to create quotes/invoices and experience with MS Word, Excel, email and CRM softwareAble to work from a home office / remotely - equipment suppliedOn offer is a competitive remuneration package including a great base salary with an attractive commission structure, a phone, laptop and maintained vehicle for the successful applicant. 80000 AUD Australia - QLD Gold Coast Brisbane 4000
