Due to even more projected growth for 2019, we are seeking an experienced BDM to join the sales team at NewBook, based at their head office in Bundall. NewBook have won numerous awards over the last few years for delivering an innovative software solution for the hospitality / tourism sector. Visit their website at www.newbook.cloud to read about their ongoing success in the market.Ideally the role would suit an experienced salesperson / BDM that has previous experience in software/SaaS sales or sales in the hospitality/ tourism sector, however we are also open to a proven performer in similar markets.Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be contacting industry leads from resorts, holiday parks, managed buildings and hotels to speak to them about switching their reservation and back office software over to NewBook. Due to the exposure NewBook has been receiving recently there are a high number of inbound leads ready for you to follow.What we are looking for is someone that has a good level of sales skills and is target driven, with a strong background in seeking new opportunities in the market. Your role will include direct sales to the industry in hotel and resort reservation/property management systems, new business development and undertaking some marketing activities to reach potential clients. An outline of some of your duties:Following inbound leads and enquiries and converting salesResearching new leads, some cold-calling would be involved on occasionSending quotes and information packages and writing proposalsBooking product demonstrations, organising conference attendance and promotionsAccount management of clientsEmail marketing, monthly newsletters, email updatesRequirements for the role include:Experience in new business development, selling and closing salesThe ability to create and present proposalsStrong customer service skills as well as not being afraid to pick up the phone and call clientsExcellent spelling and grammatical skills to proof workMust have a current driver's licenceAn ability to travel to trade shows and conferences (approx. 5 per year)On offer is a competitive base salary, a well-defined bonus structure with high earning potential, and the opportunity to be a part of a fun and successful business with a team that loves what they do.
