Work closely with operations and suppliers.Our client is a well-established Australian manufacturer and supplier operating within the building materials and architectural products space, with a strong reputation for quality, sustainability, and responsible sourcing.They are seeking a capable Compliance Manager to lead and strengthen supply chain compliance across the business.The roleBased at the Gold Coast head office and distribution site, this is a hands-on role working closely with purchasing, operations, and suppliers to ensure compliance obligations are met across a diverse supply chain.You will take ownership of due diligence, certification, and audit processes, while applying practical judgement to support commercially sound outcomes and improve internal compliance systems.Key responsibilities:Lead supply chain due diligence activities (data collection, risk assessment, mitigation and review) Manage compliance audits, certification processes, and supporting documentation Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and documentationMonitor regulatory and certification changes and translate them into operational actions Work closely with internal teams and suppliers to maintain compliant sourcing practices Maintain accurate records, reporting, and audit trails Investigate non-conformances and drive corrective actions About youExperience in compliance, auditing, supply chain governance, procurement, or quality assurance Ability to interpret complex information, assess risk, and apply sound judgement Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Clear and practical communication style, both written and verbal Comfortable working across internal stakeholders and external suppliers Experience within manufacturing, imports/exports, or regulated supply chains will be viewed favourably.
