They are now seeking an experienced Content Marketing Specialist / Graphic Designer to produce inspiring, entertaining and business-related content for their online and in-store presence.Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be a valued member of the marketing team and are responsible for the design, coordination and production of all online and offline content to achieve online and in-store marketing needs. The role will take ownership of 3 channels - Website (eCommerce, Blog posts, Look books), email and YouTube content and will also design print content for stores. Ultimately, you will be a senior level Graphic Designer with print and digital experience that has moved into full content production and inputs strategically within a company. Ideally you will have worked in a similar capacity within an apparel, accessories, footwear or fashion-related field across in-store and ecommerce environments to understand your audience and what design and content tactics work to influence and engage customers.What you will be doing in the role:Creating, editing and managing the production of brand consistent digital and print content for stores, ecommerce, website, social and EDM’sDefining, creating, and upholding the organisation’s Style GuideAssisting in ideation, planning, and execution of the editorial and content marketing calendar that attracts and appeals to the organisation’s various customer avatarsCreating copy (blogs, original text), engaging headlines and sub-headers, proofreading, and deep-line editing for spelling, grammar and brand consistencyIdentifying successful content and mapping out new ways to repurposeDesign of print marketing collateral such as flyers, catalogues, business cards as well as point of sale and in-store graphics (e.g. large decals to cover walls)Production of photo and video assets (internal / external agency)Maintaining an active, well-rounded presence in social media, demonstrating a command of each network, best practice and upholding the company’s Community Guidelines (Moderating)Staying abreast of competitors’ marketing activities and online presence through monitoring web and social media accountsIdentifying, analysing and reporting on sales analytics from EDM’s and post engagementManaging external agencies when utilised for external content creationRequirements for the role include:At least 3 years' recent experience in a similar role with the duties as outlined aboveFashion accessories / apparel / footwear retail, ecommerce and digital brand experience would be idealDemonstrated experience with the creation of content that has proven success of engagement and selling capacity and appropriate brand positioningDemonstrated ability to develop and execute short and long-term community management strategies that influence growth, engagement, and cultureAbility to structure video content to make it both engaging and seo-optimisedStrong graphic design skills with the ability to design effectively with a company’s visual tone and industry relevanceExceptional knowledge and proven results in content creation and experience working across various platforms.Creative and innovative approach with a key interest in staying up to date with the latest in design and marketing best practicesExperienced in the Adobe suite, predominantly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat.
