We are working alongside a well-established Gold Coast based consultancy experiencing substantial growth in their market. They have a highly skilled and stable team and are now seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join them in a permanent full time capacity to advise on a wide range of projects within the water / wastewater industry. This is a senior role within the team, reporting to the Director.We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with excellent technical ability, innovative ideas, the proven ability to manage and develop client relationships and provide sound advice. With your experience you will be required to work autonomously, be an expert user of design and analysis software, conduct site inspections, and manage multiple projects.About you:Ultimately, you are a qualified and suitably experienced Electrical Engineer preferably with RPEQ, that has the technical knowledge and confidence to guide the direction on the electrical component of water industry projects including treatment plant design, pump stations, switchboards, control rooms and machinery. You will provide detailed analysis and reporting for projects, maintain quality control of drawings, manuals and documentation and have the capacity to sign off on designs ensuring the highest of standards. You will also be experienced with design and modelling software, be experienced in meeting Australian design codes and would also enjoy mentoring junior Engineers.Skills / Qualifications:Degree level qualifications in ElectricalMinimum of 4 years’ electrical design experience (preferably in consultancy)MIEAust, RPEQ or working towardsExperience within industrial or exposure to water / wastewater infrastructure highly regardedExperience in Electrical Design, Drawings and Switchboard BuildingPLC, HMI, SCADA programming experienceExperience in generating Calculations – Load Analysis, Cable Sizing, Lighting Experienced in writing reports, Scope of Works, Technical specificationsStrong client relationship building skillsAn excellent salary is on offer, as is a great office location (with quick M1 access), a flexible and friendly work environment, and the opportunity to join a well-established and reputable company.Your application will be treated in strictest confidence.
