Our client, based in the Burleigh area is seeking an experienced Estimator / Contracts Administrator with at least 2 years' experience to join the team in a newly created role in high volume residential builds. We are seeking a person that understands their function to be able to hit the ground running, preferably has experience in BusinessCraft, and is confident to support the Project Manager across multiple projects.
You will be involved in the full life-cycle of multiple projects with tasks including:
- Assisting with pricing and cost analysis
- Reporting and forecasting
- Managing sub-çontracts and supply agreements
- Ordering materials and equipment
- Liaising with sub-contractors
- Assessing and processing progress claims.
We are seeking a professional candidate that meets the following criteria:
- At least 2 years' experience in an Estimating or Contracts Administrator role, working on residential construction projects
- Must have experience in BusinessCraft (or a very similar system) to be considered
- Experience dealing with a range of professionals and trades from sub-contractors to architects
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Skilled in supplier management and procurement
- Excellent analytical and problem solving ability
- Good administrative, reporting and IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- A self-motivated approach
