Our client is a successful northern Gold Coast company that manufactures and provides glazing services to their clients. They are now seeking a skilled Quality Control Coordinator to join the team in a full time permanent role.  Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will be responsible for ensuring that the business achieves its quality objectives and will include duties such as:Working closely with the manufacturing and despatch teams to ensure all aspects of quality are implemented and maintainedConducting daily quality audit of production components and processesHighlighting and/or escalating any quality issues to managementLiaising with the production managers and shop floor personnel on all aspects of qualityLiaising with customers on quality related issues regarding defective stockModifying and/or creating process documentationDriving continuous improvement through all processesWe are seeking a candidate with a professional yet personable nature to work cohesively with the team. Quality Coordinator

Our client is a successful northern Gold Coast company that manufactures and provides glazing services to their clients. They are now seeking a skilled Quality Control Coordinator to join the team in a full time permanent role.  

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will be responsible for ensuring that the business achieves its quality objectives and will include duties such as:

  • Working closely with the manufacturing and despatch teams to ensure all aspects of quality are implemented and maintained
  • Conducting daily quality audit of production components and processes
  • Highlighting and/or escalating any quality issues to management
  • Liaising with the production managers and shop floor personnel on all aspects of quality
  • Liaising with customers on quality related issues regarding defective stock
  • Modifying and/or creating process documentation
  • Driving continuous improvement through all processes

We are seeking a candidate with a professional yet personable nature to work cohesively with the team. Skills required include:

  • Previous quality control experience within the manufacturing sector
  • Qualifications within QA would be highly desirable
  • Internal auditing experience
  • High attention to detail, thoroughness and accuracy
  • Business-oriented with a practical working approach
  • Strong knowledge and insight into manufacturing processes 
  • Safety conscious
  • An ability to establish and maintain effective relationships across the business
  • Professional approach with a high customer service focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
