Our client is an innovative software company based on the Gold Coast that delivers award-winning PMS (property management systems) within the accommodation sector. Due to further growth, they are seeking an experienced Sales Account Representative to join the team in a full time opportunity.The role would be ideally suited to a sales hunter profile that has previous experience within software / SaaS sales, working with inbound leads, conducting demos to present solutions and closing.Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be working closely with the marketing team, contacting inbound leads to introduce and demonstrate their software / tech platform. Due to the exposure the company receives in the industry, they are a well-known solution that receives a high number of inbound leads ready for you to follow. You will also get the opportunity to travel to industry trade shows to network and demonstrate the product.What we are looking for is someone that has a good level of sales skills and is target driven. Your role will include direct sales to the industry in hotel and resort reservation/property management systems, new business development and undertaking some marketing activities to reach potential clients. An outline of some of your duties:Following inbound leads and enquiries and converting salesPresenting product demonstrationsSending quotes and information packages and writing proposalsResearching and contacting new leadsOrganising conference attendance and promotionsAccount management of clientsEmail marketing, monthly newsletters, email updatesRequirements for the role include:Experience in a similar role, selling and closing salesThe ability to create and present proposalsStrong customer service and communication skillsThe drive and confidence to call prospects Must have a current driver's licenceAn ability to travel to trade shows and conferences (approx. 5 per year)On offer is a competitive base salary, a well-defined bonus structure with high earning potential, and the opportunity to be a part of a fun and successful business with a team that loves what they do.
