A well-established private investment group is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts & Payroll Officer to join its finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll support the day-to-day financial operations across a diverse portfolio of businesses, including commercial property and related investments. This is a varied, hands-on role within a stable, privately owned organisation that values teamwork, accuracy and long-term relationships.
The Role
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Payroll processing and compliance
- Bank and account reconciliations
- End-of-month processing and reporting support
- Assisting with BAS and GST
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting the Finance Manager with general finance administration
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Senior Bookkeeper or Payroll position
- Strong experience across AP, AR and payroll
- Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- A positive, reliable and team-focused approach
Experience working across multiple entities will be viewed favourably but is not essential.
