Rebel Media is an independent company operating Rebel FM and The Breeze Network in Queensland and Northern NSW.Ideally the role would suit a solid sales performer from advertising and media however it is also open to a strong relationship builder and innovative thinker that understands business and has the foresight to provide innovative cross-platform solutions for their clients.Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will manage and service an established account and also be focused on building your own portfolio of new business clients. You will be fully supported in your role with training available and the funds to assist with your independent marketing/promotional initiatives.Activities will includeManaging your current portfolioFollowing inbound leads, researching and cold calling to build a pipeline and seek new opportunities in the marketMeeting with prospects to identify their needs to deliver a holistic marketing solutionMeeting with and presenting marketing proposals to prospectsSending quotes and information packagesAttending promotional events and networking in the business communityPosting to Social Media and the website and building engagementEmail marketing, monthly newsletters, email updatesRequirements for the role include:Experience in prospecting, selling and closing salesKnowledge of cross media advertising, social media and web marketingA good understanding of business, customer buying patterns and objection handlingAccount management experience - able to follow call cycles, review and service clientsConfident in your demeanour, personable and able to influenceThe ability to create and present proposalsStrong client service skills that make them feel appreciatedA person that backs themselves, has good values and is self-directedA current driver's licenceOn offer is a competitive base salary and a well-defined bonus structure with high earning potential.
