Based on the northern Gold Coast, our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Office that is confident in debt recovery to join their growing and successful organisation in a newly created permanent full time role. The company provides professional services to the property sector and is experiencing growth under its leadership.Reporting to the Financial Controller and working as a valued part of the finance team for the company's clients, your duties will include:Debt recovery (3 days per week out of the 5) - If you love this stuff, the role has the ability down the track to fully focus on this across the companyAccounts payable and receivable functionsWeekly reviews of Arrears, automatic reminders and the provision of reportsPreparation of accounts reportsAssist the Financial Controller in accounts functionsWe are seeking a professional candidate that meets the following criteria:A minimum of least 2 years recent experience in a similar roleExcellent accounts, administrative and data entry skills with a very high attention to detailComfortable and confident with debt recovery and skills in being creative to recover fundsStrong negotiation and interpersonal skillsIntermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as accounts softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good spelling and grammatical skillsVery good organisational and time management skills to meet deadlines and to also the ability to be self-directed in your workA mature, focused and team-oriented personality
