Due to even more projected growth for 2021, our client is seeking an experienced BDM to join their team, focused on products and services within the ICT sector for the QLD region. The role is based in the central Gold Coast region in a strong company with a good structure, strong reputation and good depth of service delivery.Ideally the role would suit an experienced salesperson / BDM that has previous experience directly in the ICT sector, however we are also open to a proven performer in similar markets. Their solutions focus on cloud services, business grade internet, telephony, web and digital development, helpdesk support services and associated services so, experience in the sector is highly preferable.An outline of some of your duties:Identify and close new business opportunitiesAccount management of current clientsFollowing inbound leads and enquiries and converting salesResearching new leads, cold-calling and meeting of prospectsSending quotes and information packages and writing proposalsBooking product/service demonstrationsEmail marketing, monthly newsletters, email updatesProviding handover of new client solutions to the Project team for deliveryand installationAttending seminars from external suppliers and partnersRequirements for the role include:Experience in new business development within the sector, solution selling and closing salesTarget driven with experience working to and reporting on KPI'sStrong prospecting skills to build pipelineThe ability to create and present proposalsStrong customer service skills as well as not being afraid to pick up the phone and call clientsExcellent spelling and grammatical skills to proof workMust have a current driver's licenceAbility to travel within the State for client meetingsOn offer is a competitive base salary, a well-defined bonus structure with high earning potential, and the opportunity to be a part of a fun and successful business with a team that loves what they do.
