Our client is a national building certification business with an office based in the Northern Gold Coast area. Due to continued growth of the business, they are now seeking a graduate or cadet level Building Certifier / Surveyor to join their team in a full time permanent role.The role would be suitable for someone with qualifications in Building Surveying (or close to completion of) and some work experience, ready to move into a role where you will be mentored and trained by a professional team.Your role will include onsite mandatory inspections for domestic and commercial buildings, ensuring that construction is being completed in accordance with endorsed plans and Building Regulations, liaising with clients, and assisting with providing on-site direction where required.Previous experience within a similar role is highly desirable.The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:Qualifications in Building Surveying (Diploma level minimum)Knowledge of residential building structural requirements, regulations and relevant standardsAbility to interpret plansA person that values accuracy and also possesses the ability to write quality reports and assessmentsExperience with MS Word, Excel and OutlookProfessional written and verbal communication skills to interact with colleagues and clientsHigh organisational and time management skills with the ability to follow proceduresExcellent presentation and a great, team focused personalityOn offer is a great opportunity to join a growing company, a competitive remuneration package based on your skills and experience, and a highly supportive work environment. 40000 AUD Australia - QLD Gold Coast
