A newly created opportunity has arisen for a Research and Development (R&D) Tax Consultant or Administrator with experience supporting the preparation of Australian Federal Government R&D Tax Incentive claims, to join our client based in the southern Gold Coast region. Candidates that have demonstrated experience preparing R&D Tax Incentive claims or similar grants and incentives will be ideal for this role, as would someone with strong technical, analytical, or professional writing and research skills developed in a technical field, looking for a new challenge.Reporting to the Leadership Group, you will enjoy a diverse range of work and client types, working autonomously within your abilities and interests. The role provides an opportunity for you to work with entrepreneurial and innovative businesses of all sizes, assisting to commercialise innovation through lucrative government incentives for R&D and innovation.You role will include: R&D Tax Incentive claim preparationTechnical writingTechnical researchPreparation of R&D expenditure analyses utilising cost accounting concepts and legislative provisionsClient management and engagementPreparation of other Government Grants, including but not limited to the Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) ApplicationsLiaising with technical stakeholders such as, Developers, Engineers, Consultants, Scientists, and innovative Business Leaders and FoundersWhat we are seeking:A tertiary qualification in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), Commerce or Law (or related disciplines) would be highly desirable although not essentialProven experience leading or supporting the preparation of technical documentation such as R&D tax claim applications, grant applications, research and/or technical papers, systems and delivery frameworks or similarAn interest in innovation and emerging technologiesStrong research and analytical skills with the ability to ‘think outside the box’Ability to collaborate and work within a diverse teamStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsSelf-directed with the initiative to manage your time effectively to meet deadlinesThis is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of R&D projects as well as joining an expanding team with a strong focus on an inclusive and supportive workplace culture, in a beautiful beach side location.
